One of the best races I've ever seen was John Ngugi winning the men's 5000 meter race in the 1988 Olympics. And the Kenyans running the steeplechase -- it's a foregone conclusion. Yet they are happy loving people none the less, doing the best they can in the conditions that they find themselves in.<br /><br />The odds of being a sucessful Kenyan runner are far worse than that of being a successful NFL, NBA or MLB player.
